Kirsten Becker (1998-) was born in North Carolina and raised in Charlestown, New Hampshire. She, along with her sisters, was homeschooled all the way through high school. Much of her childhood was spent reading, playing music, and exploring the great outdoors. Kirsten loved growing up in a small town, where everyone knew everyone. As the daughter of a pastor, she had many opportunities to play the piano and work with choirs at her local church. She performed her first full length solo concert for friends and family at the age of twelve, and continued to perform in statewide venues and competitions throughout high school.
In 2020, Kirsten completed her Bachelors of Music degree in piano performance at Keene State College. She has been playing the piano from a young age and is fortunate enough to have studied with excellent musicians such as Mrs. Sandra Graff, Dr. Carleen Graff (PSU), Dr. Matthew Odell (KSC), and Dr. Christina Wright-Ivanova (KSC). Kirsten started taking composition seriously at the age of 19, and fell in love with the art of expressing one's self through music. She has since recorded an album and written thirty-one pieces for an assortment of ensembles, including solo piano, choir, instrumental duets and concert band. Additionally, Kirsten teaches elementary music at Dublin Christian Academy and piano lessons at her private studio.
