About Kirsten

Kirsten Becker (1998-) was raised in rural New Hampshire.  As the daughter of a pastor, she had many opportunities to play the piano and work with choirs at her local church.  She performed her first full length classical piano concert for friends and family at the age of twelve, and continued to perform in statewide venues and competitions throughout high school.  In 2020, Kirsten completed her Bachelors of Music degree in piano performance at Keene State College.

Kirsten has been playing the piano from a young age and is fortunate enough to have studied with excellent musicians such as Mrs. Sandra Graff, Dr. Carleen Graff (PSU), Dr. Matthew Odell (KSC), and Dr. Christina Wright-Ivanova (KSC).  Kirsten started taking composition seriously at the age of 19, and fell in love with the art of expressing one's self through music.  She has since recorded two albums and written over fifty pieces for an assortment of ensembles, including solo piano, choir, instrumental duets and concert band.  Additionally, Kirsten teaches music at a Christian school and piano lessons at her home studio.
