Composer's Notes: This piece has the distinction of being the first "finished" piece of music I wrote. (For those who don't know - I have a tendency to start projects and not finish them!)   Approaching Storm is built on a simpe chord progression [ i - VI - III - VII] that becomes more and more dramatic with each cycle, similar to how an rainstorm builds in intensity.
