Composer's Notes: This piece was inspired by the many chipmunks that inhabited my childhood backyard.  For some reason, I thought all chipmunks were one and the same, and so I christened them "Edwin". And so, this piece is dedicated to the many "Edwins" that we all know and love (or tolerate). Do you consider chipmunks an adorable asset to your yard, or pests?
